Carl Jackson · Winner Collectors Art Prize

Carl Jackson has been an Artist, Art Instructor for over 50 years. Along the way He has been an Illustrator, arts administrator, concept artist and gallery director. His work is included in various public collections including the Boston Public Library, The Addison Gallery of American Art, The Brooklyn Museum, and Rutgers University.

His work has been shown nationally and in many private galleries including Alan Stone in NY, Sherry Frumkin in Los Angeles and Fountainhead Gallery in Seattle. He has had 2 one person Museum exhibitions of his work; The Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover MA, and at the University of Oregon Museum, in Eugene OR. His background is varied: He is a graduate of Annapolis, and served aboard nuclear submarines; upon leaving the Navy he attended and graduated from Rhode Island School of design.
